The Review Board

Where Honesty Never Ends.

A Heartfelt Farewell

Hello everyone! The Unleashed One here. I have a very important announcement as it pertains to The Review Board.

**On January 1, 2018, The Review Board will be closing its doors.**

Believe me when I say this was not an easy decision to reach. Yet, this is what I feel is best. There was a combination of factors but what stood out the most was that extending this service to others no longer felt like a joy to me. I always expressed to my fellow Board Members that the moment that TRB gave me more trepidation than thrill that I was going to let it go.

**That time has come.**

I would like to thank all of the authors who submitted their works for The Review Board to read. It does take courage to put words out there and brace for whatever comes—whether praise or constructive criticism.

I would also like to recognize the retired Board Members—Marianna Randazzo, Nikki McDonagh, Casey Harvell, Andi Houtsch, and Frederick Crook—for their insights.

Most of all, I take my hats off to those who have remained with The Review Board: Y. Correa, Andrew Boyd, and Harmony Kent. They never wavered from TRB’s intent, and I thank them for believing and practicing its vision.

**So, you may wonder, what happens in the meantime?**

We will not be taking any requests for 2018. I will reach out to organizations that have The Review Board listed and ask them to remove us. However, I cannot guarantee that it will be done.

The 2017 list is quite competitive, so it has taken a bit more time to get back to some than others. If you are on the list, you will be notified. If you don’t get an email from TRB before the year is out, safely assume that you didn’t get included. In situations where our large word quota has been filled, you will be notified of that—all other queries will not be responded to.

I’m very appreciative of those who liked, shared, subscribed, and even commented and wish the authors all of the best in their present and future endeavors.

For love of literature,

About nolabels

I have an appreciation for the unique, love for all types of art, and fierce attractions to brilliant intellectuals (from book smarts to street smarts). Lover of humanity but feel humans have lost their way, just trying to stay true to myself as conformity threatens to take me away. Simply one head, many crowns: Author. Reviewer. Columnist.
